Pax System Planner

Finally, finally, finally!! It has been almost 2 years since we ripped the carpet out of our closet, put new flooring down and painted the closet. I never intended to wait this long to continue remodeling it, however Ikea had different plans for us. They have been out of stock of the Pax System for almost 2 years. Everything was finally in stock, so I quickly made the purchase and sent my husband next day to Ikea to pick it all up, in a U-Haul. 😂 It's ok he still loves me.  😂. We have been waiting for this for far too long. Now, this is part 1 of how I planned our closet out. Our closet is oddly shaded with a corner wall that sticks out far too much and is far too ugly to continue to see. I designed this with the mind set of covering that wall. However, I thought I would have space for a mirror, now I am not sure..

Let's Decorate a Mug!

Hey Guys!

I have had some requests for 'kid-friendly' crafts for Holiday, when kids are off school and for snow days!! Woo Hoo snow!!! Anyhow. I figured this mug would be the best gift because; 1 it is cheap to get (markers are expansive but last a long time), 2 kids love making these, and 3 you can give them as gifts! It a well rounded craft that goes with anything; birthday gift for grandma or grandpa or parents, Christmas gift or a treat for your young ones. Kristopher and Kailee LOVE (crazy love honest) making these. If I could buy all of the dollar stores white mug they would so decorate them all. {lol} Anyhoo heres what you need...

1. Big Letter Stickers (Dollar Tree has these)
2. Shape Stickers too (Dollar Tree)
2. White Mugs or Plates (Dollar Tree)
3. Sharpie Oil-Based Markers (Michaels, Jo-ann Fabrics or my shop)
4. Your child... (lol) or self...

So, basically all you really do is take your plate or mug place whatever saying or shapes sticker on the mug, and start making dots on the mug. Once you have dotted the mug all up, get EXTRA around the letters or shapes; let dry 10 mintues, remove the stickers and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Allow these mugs to cool in the oven 2 to 4 hours. Once cooled, wash and enjoy your favorite hot tea, hot cocoa, or coffee. {The markers will not run off! I tested this}

Kailee did her nick name, Kai.

After she did her dots and colored the handle... We let dry 10 minuts, and bam!!
Do not forget to bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; then leave in oven 3 to 4 hours to cool!!

Here they all are. You can see Kailee's in the back right, Kristopher did 'Dog' back left, I did an H or Daniel (our last name) and the work 'hey'.

Give this a try! You will be impressed how easy and cheap this is!! If you try this or any other crafts, please send us a picture to Twitter or Facebook and hashtag #organicmominthekitchen and #craftysunday!! I wanna see your creations and your children!
